Honduras Roger Domínguez
Honduras quickly burst onto the specialty coffee scene back in the late 2000s, and has been putting out some spectacular offerings ever since. Roger Antonio Domínguez Márquez and Carmen Fiallos, his wife, rank among the country’s best producers, having won 2nd place in the 2019 edition of the prestigious Cup of Excellence competition. They own several small farms in the famous Marcala region, including the 4-acre Finca La Cueva, which is planted with 100% catuaí and shaded by orange and lemon trees. This elegant Featured Farm coffee was fermented for 18 hours, washed several times, and dried on raised beds for around 15 days. We love the tropical fruit and floral notes as well as its buttery texture and lingering finish. Enjoy!
